Eveleth Public Library 2025 Summer Reading Signup 

Thank you for joining us as we "Level Up at Your Library" this summer at the Eveleth Public Library.

​Our Summer Reading Program (SRP) will have many things happening at the library this summer, while others you can take home to do. And while we still want everyone to READ, our focus is on HAVING FUN wherever you are! We have a Summer Reading Log and other things to do. 

On Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. we will have Story Time. We will show a G or PG-rated movie on Wednesday afternoons starting at 1 pm. Throughout the day on Thursdays we will have a craft project. Every other Friday we will be having games (both indoor & outdoor as the weather allows) from 1 - 4:30 p.m.

This year’s program will run from June 10th until August 2nd.  Welcome Packets will be available for pick up at the library starting Tuesday June 3rd through July 22nd, so you can start any time along in June or July. 

Track your Reading Times on your reading log and let us know how you are doing. Every time you read 20 minutes in a day mark it down. Although we encourage you to read as much as you want, please be aware that you can only count 60 minutes (1 hour) per day towards and only 300 minutes (5 hours) per week.

Along with our regular Summer Reading we are also providing a Side Quest called Reading Dragons & Friends. Each Welcome packet will include 3 starter cards & instruction for play. For every 120 minutes kids read logged on their RDF tracker, they can pick a dragon family to add to their card set. This is an optional activity - the time spent reading for the regular reading log can be used for this as well.
