October 17, 2026 ~ 10 a.m.Eveleth Public Library and the Arrowhead Library System are pleased to welcome Arn Kind of Historical Experiences, presenting "Soldiers of the American Revolution" an interactive event. On this 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence join Arn Kind for an event all about the American Revolution. This in depth presentation puts audience members into the life of a revolutionary soldier with historical artifacts, uniforms, and hands-on experiences. Audiences will enjoy learning about the causes of the revolution and how it led to the birth of the United States of America. This two hour program is suited for ages 10 and up. This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF).

Eveleth Public Library and the Arrowhead Library System are pleased to announce COMPAS Artist Shakuntala Maheshwari presenting the free art workshop "Sand Painting & Rangoli", at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Eveleth Public Library. Create your own mandala-like designs with chalk, sand, or rice flour in this interactive workshop. Artists will learn about Indian culture, history, and celebrations through sand painting and rangoli. Rangoli designs are temporary floor art created to bring good luck and happiness to homes throughout India. Your stylized rangoli can be displayed temporarily or transferred to paper to bring home. The workshop is 2 hours long & is suited for adults, teens & children ages 10 & up. Younger children can participate with adult assistance. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ~ Interested attendees should call or visit Eveleth Public Library to sign-up for the workshop, as space and supplies for the workshop is limited.  The Arrowhead Library System and Eveleth Public Library are pleased to present Songs of Mesabi, a musical journey through Minnesota’s Iron Range with Greg Tiburzi on Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. in the lower level of the Eveleth Public Library. Inspired by pop radio, the American songbook, rock, and folk and world music, Greg Tiburzi blends guitar and harmonica to back his compositions. Greg reveres the healing quality of music and its ability to lift and connect us to each other, our surroundings, and ourselves. Songs of Mesabi is a concert featuring a pastiche of musical styles from the 19th through the 21st-century. Come along on this colorful journey with original tunes paying homage to Greg Tiburzi's homeland – Minnesota's Iron Range. This program is one hour long and is suited for audiences of all ages. They Brought Their Songs weaves together stories and history of Minnesota with musical genres that highlight the diverse ethnic make-up of the state. Caleigh pairs harp, fiddle, bodhran, banjo, accordion, guitars, mandolin, congas, viola, contra bass, and captivating vocals for a program that is a perfect harmony of Minnesota history. This delightful musical experience connects listeners with musical selections including Scandinavian, German, Italian, Finnish, Native American, French-Canadian, Irish and more.
