"Plant a Seed, Read", our Summer Reading Program, begins June 9th. Kids can sign up & start picking up packets after June 4st. We will have weekly, bi-weekly & special events at the library throughout June & July.

Tuesday 10 a.m. - June 9th - July 28th Story Times with craft
Wednesday 1 p.m. - June 10th - July 29th Movies
Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. June 11th - July 30th - drop in for Crafting
Every other Friday - 1 - 4:30 p.m. (June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24) - Games
There will also be weekly scavenger hunts, and other programs.

Jolly Pops! ~ Saturday June 13th at 10 a.m.
The Jolly Pops combine upbeat, original music with popular children’s songs for a concert that is sure to please kids and adults alike. Take a fun ride with the Happy Dads and their puppet friends as they sing about alligator dancing, popsicles, trains, pet dinosaurs...and everything in between! This program is 45 minutes long and suited for families and children of all ages.

Sarah’s Serpentarium: The Reptile Experience ~ Wednesday June 24th at 10 a.m.
Join Sarah’s Serpentarium for an unforgettable, one-hour journey into the fascinating world of reptiles. This high-energy, family-friendly program features live animal ambassadors—including snakes, lizards, turtles, and more. Fun facts and engaging storytelling are paired with hands-on learning moments that will spark curiosity in every age group. Participants discover what makes reptiles unique, how they survive in the wild, and why these misunderstood creatures are essential to their ecosystems. With a strong focus on education, conservation, and connection, this program transforms curiosity into confidence.

Bugs at the Library with Nature Connect ~ Friday July 17th at 10 a.m.
Join Amber Taylor of Nature Connect and discover the aquatic insects that live in our Minnesota waters! You will learn all about insect life cycles, adaptations, and what they tell us about water quality, and the insects' roles in the ecosystem. Attendees will interact with live insects in water touch tanks. Expect to learn, explore, and get a bit wet!
