Summer Reading Fun 2024 at the Eveleth Public Library
Plans are still being made for this year's Summer Reading Fun program, but here's what we know so far.
Sign up will start any time after June 1st. Timed reading can start on June 9th and be logged through July 27th. Weekly Story Time will start on Tuesday June 11th at 10:30 a.m. Our weekly Wednesday Movie Matinees will start at 1 p.m. on Wednesday June 26th - July 24th. (I've heard that Mary Ellen will take suggestions of G or PG rated movies you might want to see). Thursdays we will have our Craft Table set up with a new craft each week for you to come in and create!
Special Events!
Wednesday June 12th at 9:30 a.m. ~ Tuey the Comic Stunt Juggler. Tuey runs the gamut from the simple to the complex. Come laugh & be amazed!
Thursday July 11th at 5 p.m. ~ Will Hale & the Tadpole Parade. It will be a dancing, jamming, rocking, unbelievably fun concert that grown ups will enjoy as much as the kids.
Wednesday July 31st at 6 p.m. ~ Peregrine Falcons with Jackie Fallon. Make sure to bring your camera when peregrine falcon researcher, Jackie Fallon and her live birds come for a up-close look.
Saturday July 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ~ Summer Reading Fun finale party
