The Eveleth Public Library is participating in the Arrowhead Library System Legacy Art Project and is seeking project proposals from regional artists that reflect Eveleth’s history and culture, or celebrates the joy of reading.
A local committee will consider art works in the medium of the artist’s choice for display either inside or outside the library building. Please note that artwork intended for display outside of the library must be able to survive exposure to our weather.
To be considered for the project artists must submit a Request for Qualifications (see attached CALL FOR ARTISTS document for details) and must reside in the seven-county service area of the Arrowhead Library System which includes Carlton, Cook, Koochiching, Itasca, Lake, Lake of the Woods, and St. Louis counties.
RFQ (Request for Qualifications - Call to Artists) document and cover letter are available for download below. Applications must be received by the Eveleth Public Library no later than February 19, 2021.
The project is funded in part with funds from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Fund and through a partnership with the Eveleth Public Library and the Arrowhead Library System.
