Construction has started at the Eveleth Public Library. While we are still in the preliminary stages here are a few things to know as we go through this process.
The library will be open our normal hours as much as possible.
You will be able to check out books, movies, magazines, & jigsaw puzzles during this time. Normal due dates are in effect.
If the OPEN lights are not lit, we are not open to the public.
You may see doors open/people going in and out of the building at times where we do not have posted Open hours. These will be staff and the various construction crews getting things done.
Portions of the library will be out of bounds during this time.
This is for your safety and for the construction crews to work as needed.
Public computers will not be available starting February 15th.
Part of the work will involve the front desk area. This means we need to remove the public computers from their current location and will not be able to offer access to the internet until that portion of the project is completed. WiFi will be available for those who bring their own devices.
Please use the family/handicap accessible bathroom in the back lower level.
