As you might expect we've gotten a lot of new DVDs since the lockdown started in March. To help the lists of new titles be a little less overwhelming we will have the new title grouped as follows: Movies (Feature Films rated PG/PG13/R), Kids DVDs (G rated movies & TV shows), TV series/multi-disc sets, and Non-Fiction DVDs.

Here's a list of most of the new G-rated Kids movies and TV shows we've added to the Eveleth Public Library collection since March. Many of these titles can be turned into At Home Storytime packs.

Just after Covid-19 closed the Eveleth Public Library down we got word that we were the recipient of a grant from the Eveleth Foundation for the creation of a Multi-Sensory collection to help us provide a variety of interactive, tactile books, dyslexia-friendly font books and read-along book/cd items to help kids, particularly the struggling and reluctant readers, form positive experiences of the library.

For an item to be multi-sensory means that the reader interacts with it more than just visually through words. These may be pop-up or lift-the-flap books, audiobooks or books with cd (read-along). There may be pictures that move or grooves to run your finger along as you move from one part of a story to the next.  

These books shown below are only a small part of the new collection. We also have kids books on cd as well as Read-Along book & cd sets.
